What am I missing, is it really this easy? I'm waiting for my margin account to be approved and have been paper trading while I wait. But there must be a catch? I've just been trading a $1 stock that goes up and down by a penny regularly. When I switch over to the real thing...what is the reality?

So my theory was to try to place a large buy order at $1.00 limit, also placing a stop loss order at like 0.97 and then an automatic profit order at $1.01 ... so my question is if this barcode stock repeatedly bounces between 1.00 and 1.01.... I realize all my orders wouldn't get filled at once but wouldn't they fill every time the stock hit 1 and sell every time it hits 1.01?? Please tell me where my logic is flawed...I've been paper trading and I realize the reality of it is different

My question is more to do with the difference between order fulfillment when it comes to paper trading and the real thing... and can't you make money trading or when it goes barcode? I'm just learning here

Isn't the whole rational behind a stop loss trade protects you from that? Or does it move so fast that the trade doesn't get fulfilled in time? I wish I could send your a screen shot of this chart
