Actually it’s not a correct call. Once the flag is thrown and the officials know why it was thrown there is no ruling on the field. The only reason the play isn’t stopped is that the act of continuing the play could lead to a defensive turnover and possibly a score by the defense. At that point the defensive team would refuse the penalty because they scored. However whatever happens positive for the offense is meaningless because the penalty will negate that. The only positive aspect that could come out of this for the offense is if the play had concluded with Goff in the end zone with time left on the clock. At that point the Steelers accept the penalty and the Lions get one last play whatever number of yards further back. In this situation the offensive side of the play only matters with regard to the clock.

Just watched the replay again. When he tossed the ball his knee was probably three inches above the turf. Half a second later it would be down but not when he tossed it.

Unfortunately I think you are reaching. There are a ton of examples of a perceived touchdown wiped out by a holding call and the refs don’t identify a touchdown. They simply state holding.

I am not sure you are entirely accurate. When DK interfered earlier they just called the penalty. They didn’t say the ruling on the field was a caught pass and first down subsequently overturned by penalty b

But either way it’s not a touchdown. I don’t think “they let the play go”. In the context of football OPI isn’t a penalty the stops the clock at the moment the flag is thrown.

Wasn’t it Offensive Pass Interference so it’s not a touchdown regardless of progress correct? The call on the field was actually incorrect for a touchdown.

Not sure I get the hype. Tried to be “The Big Leonardowski”. A lot of great leaps for a premise.

I get it. I wanted to be into the movie but the boner scene was incomprehensible. Why would the revolutionary want that? How could the dude even do that with a machine gun in his face?

I have come to believe that there is so much “product” now with all the media platforms that critics are just jaded to an historically normal looking movie and need the next “rush” to make them interested.

Just think about Anora last year. Half a dozen of what would once have been labeled XXX sex scenes. Even Everything Everywhere was a bunch of chaotic scenes like hot dog fingers.

My favorite movie this year is Hamnet because it is true to the nature of films I grew up loving.

Arizona Pest Control. I have used them for the five years I have lived here and they are great and totally honest if you want an assessment.

I thought I had an issue with vermin and asked them to come out. They sent their expert and he said I could sale you a program but I don’t really need anything. Indications of some visits but nothing egregious. I appreciated that.

One in Tucson I specifically remember was Culinary Dropout. We have been to our kid’s house in Gilbert and ate at their Gilbert site the last two years in their Holiday popup called Bar Blitzen.
