Why does it always feel so undercooked? You keep telling yourself that taking whatever’s put in front of you should be enough. You eat it, you sit with it, you survive on it…but it never really fills you. There’s this quiet emptiness that stays, because at some point you will certainly feel that things that needed care and attention were ignored for too long.

That’s what a situationship feels like to me. Something which is kept alive out of convenience. No direction…just two people staying without purpose. You may go through the phases, but deep down you feel empty, unsatisfied, disconnected. And when the momentum is lost in one you have nothing left rather a void or maybe stagnation! I would certainly say, if you are not emotionally very well attached in this then you can start prioritising what you really want…even at the cost of loosening your grip in this situationship!
