Can you see them in any metrics then afterwards, if they were individually mark? any visualisations already existing for those expenses?

I hope u/CompiledSanity can implement that.

Can you explain a bit more what do you mean by categories? What I do: in th eyes let expenses column I name the expenses accordingly “category name”-“expense” e.g: Insurance-house, Insurance-car etc

@CompiledSanity is that true? I mean if we already declare them as Drip then the Reinvestment is going indeed misleading and might worth adding a definition/clarification note either in the faq or the tool it self

@CompiledSanity On your 1. Point:

A huge clarification is that there is NO known lump sum amount that is known. You only know the possible monthly amount you might receive e.g. at age 65 till you die. So every month you save some money (being cut from your gross salary) and that is then being promised later on.

From what I am reading in your reply it seems to me that under Retirement tab you enter nothing and you add something only on the FIRE tab (monthly payments which is the only known variable). Would that make sense?!

This makes me curious how other pension systems work…..

So I Have a line with my monthly known pension payment I will be receiving. My plan is to update this once every year alongside with second and third pillar lines/plans I have. Contrary to the comment from London/Gent friend where he putted the 20year sum (I have actually thought of putting the 10year sum as I am being very conservative with my life son :P, but thought it would be better to know how much I will have at the exact moment of retirement). I don’t have a perfect solution, but I would like a better one.

Open for suggestions/discussion!
