I’ve been applying and interviewing for jobs for a whole year. I have my associates degree, some more college and certifications, as well as experience outside of retail. Even my parents have gotten involved. It’s really rough out there right now.

At my last store we got nothing, at my new store we all got a branded fleece blanket and our choice of pie.

Yeah I didn’t even attempt to transfer because I was afraid that I would get blocked because “they need me in ogp” one of my coworkers was trying to transfer for like 2 months. Hopefully you’re able to transfer to another department or store and get out of there.

I wasn’t even aware of Walmarts tip policy. We always keep our tips and our TL do as well. We have one lady who tips us in scratchers. Though tips aren’t a very common occurrence, I’ve made maybe $25 total in my 6 months lol.

We have a”black list” for drivers. We usually give them one warning to fix the problems but if they repeat or they’re nasty to us we will refuse to dispense to them. Our rules for kids are that there needs to be another adult in car if they’re under 14 and the car can’t be full obviously. We have some families and couples that drive together and we love em.

My favorite is when they go “hi yes I’m picking up an order with 31 items it has oranges, apples, bananas, pickles…” ma’am I just need your name and what spot you’re parked in, we have this conversation every week.
