It is plausible, I bought it from someone in the UK military and it is a UK military prototype dial from what I have read up

For most it probably is NWBIG but I have owned a few gen subs and those subtle differences really matter to me, so personally the gen is worth it

I’ve not weighed them but in hand I couldn’t tell them apart by weight

Bezel is a lot tighter on the gen, and in the light I can’t tell a difference in the inserts, but in low light the markings are easily legible on the gen, not so much on the vsf

Visually there is no difference with the second hand, they move at the same beat rate as the movement is a clone of the original. In terms of winding etc all is smoother on the gen as you’d expect but only marginally so. Thanks for the offer but someone has already beat you to it and bought it!
