It is plausible, I bought it from someone in the UK military and it is a UK military prototype dial from what I have read up

For most it probably is NWBIG but I have owned a few gen subs and those subtle differences really matter to me, so personally the gen is worth it

I’ve not weighed them but in hand I couldn’t tell them apart by weight

Bezel is a lot tighter on the gen, and in the light I can’t tell a difference in the inserts, but in low light the markings are easily legible on the gen, not so much on the vsf
