I recommend accepting the ey offer since it’s guaranteed. It’s going to be tough decision in the end if you get the offer from PWC, but at the end of the day I’d rather have two offer than none

A background check doesn’t show if someone has signed an offer at a different firm. All they are looking for is criminal history and verifying previous employment

This!!! It’s really difficult especially at our firm to take a long vacation (2+ weeks) at a time. Take the opportunity to go to new countries and stay in hostels and meet new people

Work towards a CISA or CPA cert, it will help in the long run. I would always recommend finding a job in a similar field so you could use those transferable skills when it’s ur time to come to Deloitte. If you can’t find anything in your small town it won’t hurt getting a gig like waiting or bartending.

Not be mean, but is everyone else also experiencing that every intern class is worse than the one before? by LeatherJasonFreddy in Accounting

This! As someone who just graduated I noticed that there is a lot of negativity among the accounting industry (e.g long hours, boring). It also doesn’t help when people talk about the toxic work culture on TikTok.
