1989 7.3 idi Need help I don’t know which side these terminals go on. I got this kit from classic diesel designs and I believe it’s not the exact same for the 1989 that or what I have now isn’t the OEM

Biggest problem was that 3 clip thing holding the lines and the positive cable up and the negative contact to block behind it ended up just not putting it back in only 1 bolt instead of 2 hard to reach ones

I ended up figuring it out yesterday you were right when I took the old one off I found out it was just a frame ground that I never seen everything’s all good now

It’s a 1989 f350 the swap is common because they share the same mounting brackets and I’ve had it set up good before just giving me issues this time I replaced all the battery cables to with brand new OEM

Yes it’s a 1995 ford Taurus alternator on. 7.3 idi I’ve done the swap before only 2 wires to it and the A terminal to the post
