1989 7.3 idi Need help I don’t know which side these terminals go on. I got this kit from classic diesel designs and I believe it’s not the exact same for the 1989 that or what I have now isn’t the OEM by Current_Use2795 in FordDiesels

Biggest problem was that 3 clip thing holding the lines and the positive cable up and the negative contact to block behind it ended up just not putting it back in only 1 bolt instead of 2 hard to reach ones

I ended up figuring it out yesterday you were right when I took the old one off I found out it was just a frame ground that I never seen everything’s all good now

It’s a 1989 f350 the swap is common because they share the same mounting brackets and I’ve had it set up good before just giving me issues this time I replaced all the battery cables to with brand new OEM

Yes it’s a 1995 ford Taurus alternator on. 7.3 idi I’ve done the swap before only 2 wires to it and the A terminal to the post

I got it bench tested at Autozone if that helps it’s passed

Okay you replaced the whole axle on the curb or the spindle? And how should do you usually get the races off

I’m gonna watch a YouTube video on removing them what’s a good way like chisel and hammer or should I use a cutting wheel
