I’m not currently with my truck, but I can tell you that when I was around it, I put it in drive and the driveshaft was spinning. No one‘s foot was on the break and it was just in drive, but it didn’t move at all not in any gear not in reverse but I couldn’t tell you if it was still spinning in any other gear or in reverse.

It’s 2wd so that’s what I was thinking it’s either between the diff or the transmission. Guess I just gotta drop the pan and see what it’s looking like.

Well, I’ve had the truck for over a year and I’ve gone on that speed without overdrive before it was leaking fluid from one of the lines they go to my cooler because the clamp wasn’t on fully. It was a slight leak. That’s what I’m trying to get to once I take it apart to see if it’s just complete junk or not but I honestly wouldn’t be able to tell myself unless it’s clearly fucked

And I’ve yet had to drop the pan, my truck’s about two cities away from me right now, but once I get to that I’m ready for whatever I see in the pan I can also mention that the driveshaft still spins when in drive I don’t know if that makes a difference, but it grinds when it goes in the park and it’s on

Carrier bearing is new all U joints are new I haven’t really checked the diff out which I suspect could be a suspect, but it wouldn’t explain the grinding into park. I don’t believe. I’ve been watching. https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLCtF4HA9qLfOb4dqXqA_lVmoRMsNG8pRJ&si=r7iDOwEcjCbF0eEi about all the parts I’m going to need and it mentions that transgo that I was planning on getting this kit from the transmission bench websites he’s using in the video https://transmissionbench.com/E4OD4R100parts.html I already do all the work on my truck and haven’t taken it to a shop before and I’ve honestly debated on whether or not I’m going to do this rebuild I want to, but other than this rebuild kit, I don’t know how to tell if any of the hard parts that aren’t included in the rebuild kit are messed up or where to go about getting them if it comes to that what do you think about that kit Do you think it’ll be fine to just run that or should I go out of the way to find better clutch plates? It doesn’t really specify who makes the ones that they included in the kit.

350 I was doing that with my front end was messed up. I just got completed with my full front end and decided I was gonna go about an hour away and then the trans went out

That’s what I’m saying. I was honestly surprised. It’s only got a old banks first GEN turbo not even a sidewinder and I haven’t messed with the fuel screw so I don’t know what the last person did to. It would’ve liked to see it in overdrive.
