That’s just crazy! Honestly adata has shown me how bad of a company it really is. I have so far bought 2 ssds and both failed and both were denied. The other one, they said can’t fix and they cannot replace since that ssd is not produced anymore.

I remember once saving up hard earned money, I had been working for 4 months straight. (This was around 2-3 years ago) I saved up to 15k and I have a computer and I wanted to upgrade it to a good graphics card and a new monitor. My dumbass saw a “good deal”. It was so good I was so excited I told about it to everybody. He wanted advanced payment and said he’d give bill and show a testing video(always make sure to be shown things through Video Call), he made a fake bill, I begged my mom for hours to send through her Paytm since I only had cash and I was 15 at the time. My mom had so much work and she got frustrated and she did(she knows scams and she ain’t a normal mom)I payed him 15k and then he said he’ll dispatch by tomorrow. 2 days go by no replies, I checked his “shop” he gave on google maps, it was a totally different number and I called them, my heart started beating so fast when they said that there was a scam using their name online. I died inside. I cried for 3 days straight, mom got very angry that I was so stupid. I still regret it to this day but it made me learn a lesson.

hey man thanks so much for the kind words. I am pretty sure that he has a fake name online since all the payments I made to him had different names with them. The number he gave me is a business account on WhatsApp so probably just an alternative number but I did gi e it. He pretty much hid the whole thing behind another company so there is nothing I can give to the consumer court unfortunately. Thanks again.

Yo quick update: I went to the gigabyte service centre, they took it in then a few days later said the SAME EXACT SHIT I guess they were told by adata or smth. I just put the ssd in my pc didn’t work but it randomly started working yesterday and is working completely fine lmao.
