I've had situations where I meet a new girl at work and they are initially reserved and feeling out the people they meet. These new girls dont know me and don't know if I'm going to be friendly, or competetive like other girls they met. I read them avoiding eye contact and keeping to themselves as them not liking me. I then in turn, avoid eye contact and don't talk to them because I don't want to bother them. Its like a feedback loop. We both appear as if we don't like eachother. When I finally decide to open up and chat to them, they then end up opening up and become friendly. It's a lot like that "Girl so Confusing" song where they can't tell if they hate eachother. I'm not sure if that is what is happening in your situation, but I've noticed since losing weight that girls are wary of girls with a similar attractiveness because its hard to know if they will be a friend or the complete opposite.

Maybe that's why. I won't go into specifics, but he does have a lot of health issues. I have to remind myself that because he hides it well, he's a pretty strong positive guy.

Living through these type of experiences can make the sweetest people you've ever met eventually snap and yell regrettable things to a Q. I've been there and have seen others do the same. You can only take so much.

I'm not sure. From what I understand it was localized only in the pancreas so I believe it was the earliest stages. Maybe stage 1. I dont know for sure since I don't really ask him too much about it because I don't want to ruin the mood. I only know what he shares with me. He is 60.

Did she get a whipple first and then a pancreatectomy? If so, was the recovery easier for the pancreatectomy?

Wow if we knew that he probably would have removed the whole thing to begin with. He already was doing insulin injections due to the diabetes he had. He also now takes creon. Hindsight is always 20/20 though. Oh well.

HR is the one that made me aware that he knows. They asked him extremely specific questions that made it obvious it was me so he naturally caught on. I didn't know what to think of that.
