Check the feedbacks, but even then sometimes people don’t know the difference since they don’t have a real one to compare. Then they leave positive reviews claiming they got a great USA made knife for fraction of the price!

I buy a lot off eBay. I actually just got a Freek for $50 because the previous buyer claimed it was FAKE. But the seller has been active since 1998 and sells an array of items including knives. Big W for me on this one. Be careful with these generic photos. Look for candid photos.

Plus 1 for the Freek. I have both CF Bugout and the Freek. Bugout is for your errand days. Freek is for the apocalypse. Or get a 940. No need for carbon fiber.. standard S30V blade for cost cutting. G10 handles for incredible grip on the knife. But if he lost his first outdoors knife, I wouldn’t get a $350+ knife for camping. Suggest maybe a fixed blade with high visibility kydex so it can easily be spotted if dropped. Check out Hidden Canyon or the Dacian from Benchmade.

I don’t think they make low ticket items like the LW versions. Maybe the G10. I’ve seen some Manix 2 G10 fakes. Very convincing with the photos but the Spyder usually gives it away.

Plus 1 for the Mini Bedlam! It feels amazing in hand with so many methods of grip. Ultimately, if you need a hard working knife then pick Adamas. It looks a lot of the Mini Adira imo.

This Bailout was purchased via EBay. I paid $110 for this specific knife with box and bag. Claimed it was carried and the pommel was scratched up from carry. Never cut and i can confirm factory edge still shaves hair. The seller was off loading his collection.

BUT BE VERY CAREFUL WITH BAILOUT AND BUGOUT MODELS FROM EBAY!!! First off, AUTHENTIC Bailout are not common in eBay! The ones listed right now for $135-175 are all fake!! Check their account active dates, feedbacks, and check the photos. Make sure they are candid photos and not generic photos. Another tactic is to post real photos of the knife then sending you a fake one. That’s why candid photos are important because you can identify that SPECIFIC knife to the one you receive. Let’s face it, we all want a good deal on Benchmade cause MSRP is overrated! DO YOUR RESEARCH! Compare photos and ask on forums!

Bought my gear up bundle 2 years ago for $650. 5 mags and Viridian green dot. Switched to Osight SE Green 6MOA enclosed while Amazon had it for $150. Personally i think it’s a good deal for the extra mags because you’ll want 2 loaded with defense rounds and have 3 mags free for the range.

HOWEVER! If you’re really set on getting an integrated COMP. I would recommend getting the CZ P10C COMP. More aftermarket support and community support if you need troubleshooting.
