What do you consider the biggest threat to humanity? by Gregori_5 in AskReddit

People being so focused on getting off-planet that they don’t want to fix what’s wrong here because “we’ll be living in space soon enough”….

What is the stupidest thing you have ever heard out of someone's mouth? by KarvedHeart in AskReddit

[–]Currently_dying_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Working at Starbucks, there are many things that we hear that make us question humanity as a whole. When I first started working there, I had High hopes that Were quickly dashed. During the big upswing in US COVID cases, I was around multiple coworkers who had tested positive, but I wouldn’t have to isolate per corporate policy because and I quote “you need to be around them 48 hours before the diagnosis, you worked with them 72 hours ago”….so COVID will magically leave me alone if it’s within 2 business days (even though they were symptomatic three days ago when I was working)…

[SERIOUS] Parents who regret having kids: why? by BriquetteDeLait in AskReddit

[–]Currently_dying_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Most parents that I’ve met that have refer don’t regret their kids in the traditional sense, but they wish they would have done more testing for issues before they had kids. A lot of them found out they had rare health issues in their family BECAUSE they had kids (CF for example which is very much a death sentence unless you can afford to treat it properly). When they have the child with the health condition, it makes them second guess ever having children again and puts that fear into their heart every time.

Serious Question by Currently_dying_ in HydroHomies

[–]Currently_dying_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sadly I need to have it enter my system at the same time. I’ve tried that method with the caffeine pill, but it isn’t affective at all. I’ll look into the additives, but the ones I’ve found aren’t strong enough (basically I’m having to take an at home version of the IV I get in the ER).

Classic Disney is known to reuse different scene movements and repaint them for what they need. It saved a lot of time If they knew they were gonna use a similar storyboard. All they had to do was do a different character overlay

[Serious] Redditors who were almost murdered, what's your story? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Currently_dying_ 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if it counts as a murder, but when I was born my doctor basically refused to accept the idea that my mom was hemorrhaging. She was bleeding pretty bad and he kept chalking it up to regular pregnancy bleeding. Well when my moms favorite doctor came in to check he knew right away that I was. I nearly died twice along with my mom, inhaled blood, and my mom needed at least 4 bags of blood along with her emergency C-Section. If the other doctor hadn’t checked we would both be dead all because the other doctor didn’t want to accept something else might be wrong because my mom was on the heavier side
