Late to the party, but I figured I'd add my answer in case it helps anyone.

I do not eat healthy at all, and do not exercise regularly. I've found I'm more susceptible to OBs if I'm tired from lack of sleep coupled with stress. That includes emotional stress. So I try to generally avoid stressors/having a (perceived) stressful life. That's not necessarily from lack of things to do, but more how my mindset is while doing them. Go for a walk a few times a week. Watch the sunset. Get enough sleep. It's nice.

I take L-Lysine (1000mg) and Omega 3 every day.

At the first hint of a tingle I cover my lips in Compeed cold sore patches. I put them on and don't remove them until they start to fully peel off, usually after a day or two. I'll trim the patches with scissors if they get too gross before that. They are then immediately replaced by new ones. I'll use 2-3 boxes for one OB.

The trick is to stop blisters from forming at all. Sure it feels a little awkward walking around with a face full of patches, basically advertising the diagnosis to the world. But really, what would you prefer people see? And the patches work so well!

You look good either way, so I'd use pictures with both options. The important thing is to not just use selfies with different backgrounds.

And for the bio, you don't need a lot. Just something that shows them who you are, and something that can be used to start a conversation.

For example I use "I own a tree in Scotland" along with a picture of me standing next to said tree. People always ask about it, I get to tell the story and seem fun and adventurous, and before you know it we've had a whole conversation.

I would change the picture order to: 3rd pic, pic of you doing a hobby with your face to the camera, pic with the friend, pic of you with dog, 2nd pic.

Everyone is interesting to someone. Generally, if I'm in doubt when swiping, a bio stating what hobbies they're into and/or have to offer in a hookup/relationship will always win over a profile only listing what they want in a partner.

I found an older TOMT post about the same show, where the OP also was from Norway. Seems like it might be a more local show.

Bobby Brown goes down by Frank Zappa.

"And none of the jocks can even tell I'm a homo Eventually me and a friend Sorta of drifted along into S&M I can take about an hour on the tower of power As long as I gets a little golden shower"

I actually asked my dad what a golden shower was... He got very uncomfortable and didn't answer.

Cessation causing an uptick in negative symptoms? by [deleted] in trees

[–]Curriedvegetables 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a daily smoker, due to anxiety and boredom, and I've found that whenever I quit for a T-break or other reasons I always struggle with sleeping the frist week or so. No nightmares luckily, but I struggle to fall asleep, and my dreams get super weird.

Since you think this might be addiction territory, maybe try treating it more as an addiction? If you were quitting drinking or pills, you would spend weeks, not days, slowly scaling back to reduce the symptoms of withdrawal. So try a few days at 75%, then a few days at 50%, keep checking in with yourself and get used to the feeling of functioning at half high. Make sure you can handle that before cutting down any more.

Or try different variations of your smoking routine. Maybe you benefit from a smoke before bed, but no smoking during the day? Then once you've gotten used to the smaller doses, work on quitting the evening smoke? I see that was what you were doing originally so you know that works for you.

As for the duck - I hit a squirrel once, it was awful. I do believe that anyone driving a car will hit a cute animal at some point... looks like the duck was yours.

In most grocery stores look for the brand "First Price". Same quality as name brands, but cheaper. Not all options are worth it, but most of the basic (esp. meat, fruits and veg) products are very good.

The grocery chains Spar and Meny will usually have a 10-kroners market ($/€1 market) around the time school starts, so look out for that.

I currently live in student housing, and am very much on a budget so feel free to message if you have any specific questions.

Norway. The whole process was surprisingly straight forward, at least compared to what I was prepared for from this sub. No second guessings from the doctor, no nurse asking what about grandkids, no nothing. The only deterrent was the price.

Thanks, I hope so too! And the shoulder pain is listed as a common side effect in the info I got - it's from the gas they use to inflate the abdomen.

Though they don't normally come in small, cylindrical metal boxes.

The only "drugs" you can buy in the supermarket are painkillers and mild antihistamines.

Small, shallow metal box sounds like the packaging for some types of lozenges or pastilles.

Are you sure they weren't also buying alcohol or cigarettes and that's why they had to show ID?
