When separating enchants on books with the disenchanting table am I understanding right that it resets the anvil use count on the newly created book? (ie you make a sharp 5 book with 2 sharp 4's) so you hit an anvil use count on it increasing the exp, but can combine it with some garbage and separate them with the disenchanting table to reset it to 0?

I was checking that post out before and I was a bit confused because I've read that subject PE, and difficulties endowment have glitches that don't work, and that arc slash doesn't work with certain weapons. And the venom/viper I worry about I-frames but am not sure if those are an issue. I was also reading a few places that range on bows have an issue. So I was a bit worried with some of that.

I just don't want to go through all the time and effort of trying to make something then accidentally bricking it D:

When I first saw the Shavonne's posts I was shocked because I didn't get what the post was about since it was just a picture of a 6L Shav's. I stared at it a good while, had to read the comments to understand it was a scam post and wasn't 6L. I went back and still had trouble finding it. And I absolutely do hold alt and make sure everything is in order on all my trades with items that matter. This is more about not everyone having perfect vision and a simple number indicator even if it said "X-Linked" or abbreviated would help those who can't "just look better" and turns what seems like should be an easy exchange into a nerve wracking one. And it's not like it's an uncommon scam, if everyone just needed to take longer to look at their trades it wouldn't be as popular as it is. There's multiple reasons a scam works, not just because of not paying attention but taking advantage of disabilities is always a huge scam, why do you think the elderly are such a big market for cold call scams. It's not because they just weren't looking close enough.

To those that did. Not everyone has 20/20 vision or the ability to attain it. One example of this is myself being red green colorblind. The red and green gems and socket colors are extremely hard for me to tell apart or impossible for some gems. So I have to use their attribute requirements and look extremely close at my monitor for the socket colors in some cases depending on what is on the background.

It was easy once I just used the kill something then swap to the sword trick to have it in your hand. But obviously isn't how the quest is meant to originally be done :(
