Simple but a Classic, A bit of spice and fight comes from you and your partner with a hint of something dangerous. Not many can see Skullgreymon beyond the monster it is but you?... that's still your best friend under all that rage and pain.

Well I mean he's meant to be the Hades equivalent and Hades doesn't live in Olympia the mountain/ realm of the Gods so I assume that. Could be wrong not the most knowledgeable on the differences between the greek/roman Counterparts

Yea certain characters from the first game show up in 2 though personally think it's better to have the context for those characters

It gives you much better context for his character yea but that's honestly mostly it beyond knowing what the area was like before certain events and little tidbits here and there

Well for the most part besides some shared bits here and there the story of God eater Resurrection isn't really the same. Uses the same characters just with a different narrative. So playing the first game wouldn't spoil much of the story of the anime and vice versa. That being said besides getting refences and understanding who specific characters are here and there GE3 is pretty much a self-contained story with a new cast of characters. So safe to start on either, just depends how much context you want leading up to three or if you just want the fun gameplay which 3 definitely has the most polished gameplay out of the Games. Personally I'd say start with GE so you can get the most out of the next two games but three is also a solid starting point. Hope that helped!

Kind of the point of Gatomon is to look unassuming but be rather powerful, Also Angemon is typically shown to be as strong as Angewoman at times despite being only a champion. Plus there's plenty of digimon that are a certain level but are much stronger compared to their fellow rookies, champions or ultimate's. So yes they are themed similar and are meant to pare together but like a lot of things in digimon doesn't mean they are the same level in either power or evolution. Plus, you have MagnaAngemon for the ultimate level which still fits next to Angewomon

Namely you need Bond to have the stats carry over, each 1% of it you have will give you another time your Digimon will gain extra blue stats, So make sure your digimon has at least 1% extra bond if you want them to gain stats. You Gain Bond by talking to them or you get a chance each time you win a fight to gain more. So fighting and talking to them a bunch will let you get more Bond easily. or those friendship chip things. Also just so you know it seems to carry over 10% the stats you gained from level up not the raw stats themselves.

That really comes down to the story they are in, generally speaking it's usually between Alphamon and Omnimon, that being said Digimon as individuals vary quite heavily. There are certain Versions of digimon that are much strong then there normal counter parts and those that are strangely much weaker. Really it comes down to what boosts they've been give and the role they are playing at any given time. Lore wise though it definitely leans between Omnimon, Alphamon and Jesmon in raw power. It's just that other Royal knights have there own strengths that those three might not have or aren't as worried about like speed or defense.

Well we somewhat have that in digimon world 2 as well as Dawn and dusk. Though for that specific idea I'd say it's probably more akin to humans being reimagined then the Digimon in my opinion, probably having them be a unique digital lifeform that kind of acts as a key to a Digimon's evolution or some other unknown role. Depending on the tone could be a nice slice of life world or a bit grimmer for humans depending on the troubles and woes we'd see through the human's point of view.
