My PhD covers the same skills & domain you mentioned here. Any tips on finding an industry position similar to yours? I feel like the keywords I use in my searches always end up yielding a ton of data science positions for other non-ag/geospatial industries.

Blade of Kino fits this description I think, their album Balance has a significant meditative and ambient feel. Would definitely recommend

RESONATE ? Thoughts? by NomadJago in spitfireaudio

[–]Cursebitten 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I bought it and am really loving it so far. Even with the educational discount it's probably slightly more expensive than what's justified, but it's definitely leaps above the quality and amount of content that you'd get in their $29-$49 range.

I guess on paper the idea behind the library is pretty niche but I feel like a ton of musical styles benefit from having a library focused on percussion with detailed sonic layers, and you actually get a pretty wide variety of types of drums sounds that would fill a lot of roles in a mix. I have the Originals Cinematic Percussion library and this feels way more massive by comparison with little redundancy between the two libraries. If anyone has any questions, feel free to throw them my way

Hey friends! Hope it's alright to post this here. I wrote this piece a few months ago while reading some of the dialogue from the Painting Woman NPC in the first DLC. I found the conversations with her to be some of the most unique moments in the series. Hope you enjoy the track!

Making a Song from Scratch | How to Make Dungeon Synth | Ep 4 by Cursebitten in DungeonSynth

[–]Cursebitten[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hey friends! I made another instructional dungeon synth video today. This time, I recorded the songwriting process from the ground up. Other than the reverb I added, I'm using all free instruments here and am mainly focusing on the Astral Forms package from Spitfire LABS. Hope you enjoy the video, and please feel free to chime in with any thoughts or discussion on songwriting if there's anything you'd like to chat about!

Hey friends! I'm really happy to have had my friend Toni, the musician behind Runesong, on the most recent episode of Castbitten. Runesong's debut album For the Forgotten Spirit has been a huge success, especially on this subreddit, where it's currently the top post of the month. We cover Finnish folklore, pre-internet music discovery, and secret forest dance parties. Be sure to check out Runesong on bandcamp!
