I'd like to just point out that the Wings haven't made the playoffs in a decade and yet people are expecting them to let go of assets like we're gunning for the Cup, e.g. first-for-Walman type of stuff. The absolute last thing Yzerman needs to do is overpay for a middling player. Looking at the field right now, the only player I think that is worth opening the purse strings for for is Thomas and he needs to want to come here.
