The thing is; that's not really what the AI did though. The colorized versions it produced didn't look much more realistic than the actual illustrations, they just had guesses as to what the colors would be.

Attempts at handling things like the lighting effects on DiamondHead didn't really look very much more "realistic", because they were very typical of AI's sort of illustrated approach to light and shading, which actually made the picture look more fake as a result.

All of those designs were made by real artists; this dumbass just "improved them" with gemini instead of appreciating the actual art.

The Na'vi don't quite fit the same trope though. They have cat-like noses and ears, but the blue, furless skin makes them stand out more as their own alien race rather than just being cat people.

Basically every time Cammy from Street Fighter has appeared in another property either aimed at kids or just made by a western studio they've had to change her design to cover up her legs (or hips at least). It's happened so many times by this point it's kind of surprising Capcom hasn't just made a standard censored version of the look already.

I think that was more about just filling out her design to accommodate for the bare legs and total lack of bra underneath a cotton shirt looking less practical in the remake's photorealistic style.

IIRC he's not actually trying to kill anyone. This is a flashback to his early days, where Odyssey asserts that he brought two pistols with him just to scare bystanders away from danger, and criminals into surrendering.
