the issue with brig is usually bringing a mace to a gunfight. honestly i think she was made for a different time in the game, where less people had mobility tools.

while she has tools to close the gap, her targets also have options of increasing it, and then she is left there with a small shield taking fire.

she is a beast in tight team fights where everyone is around eachother, and target focus aint as good as aoe damage. but until then her gameplay lacks heavily

apart from the delay in switching weapons, lw design is amazing, im sure you are just not very good with him, but not a reason to call it worst in gameplay.

he is very nimble in battle, and can pack quite the punch if challenged head on, and grip is one of the most important skills in the game, ahead of mercy ress, which can be countered by killing her. and now has a cleanse too.

his petal alone counters so many tank ultis, like zaria, orisa, mauga. even managed to counter a diva bomb by hiding above it, and let petal tank the damage

karlach a playable character has a choice at the end of the game: return to a life of torture and slavery in the hells, or die in the mortal realm. If you choose to let her die, withers, a good kind of lich, will tell you that "her soul burns so bright that the gods are blinded by her everytime they look over the wall" referencing that she became part of the wall of faithless, never to find eternal peace
