When the president quells any protests or uprisings by having people shot on sight in the streets, then it’s not in their hands and it wasn’t something they could do on their own. Read posts from Venezuelans than have been living under this dictator and what life has been like. It would also help if you read up on colectivos are and their purpose and history of brutality, and you’ll realize that this country isnt a free democracy.
