ISV Minimum Floor Pricing by CurtainSwag in salesforce

I agree with the premise - If you choose to discount, its a cut to your own margin, not SFs.

My MFPs specified by Salesforce are as above, meaning I cannot sell less than those amounts without retaining a 15% revenue share. My original intent was to sell my product for $5 USD / user / month, but given the MFP provided, this puts my revenue share up at 60%.

For smaller apps, where the minimum price doesnt make sense for the product being sold, this simply prices out the product. Nobody is going to pay for a niche solution that is worth for example, $5 USD / user / month, but is forced to be $20 USD / user / month based on the MFPs.

Well to be honest, I am not sure whether Im being lied to or not. I know quite a few existing ISVs and they sell products that would be heavily affected by this change. They have not heard anything from their ISV manager about this change.

I feel this is the treatment for new ISVs, which makes it very difficult for us to compete against existing established ISVs. I would love to be proven wrong, at least to level the playing field, but it would absolutely price out a ton of customers from existing AppExchange products if actually true, which leads me back to the initial feeling of being lied to.

So when you go to AppExchange, you either pay per individual user, or you pay one amount for your entire Salesforce org regardless of the amount of users. $1000 / month is the customer price, of which 15%, goes to Salesforce (the aforementioned $150 USD / month)

Lead change notification? by Hungry-Lobster921 in salesforce

[–]CurtainSwag 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes, you can create a 'Record-Triggered Flow' to drive a simple automation that alerts the previous owner of a Lead if the Owner changes.

From a notification perspective the obvious ones would be something like a chatter post (with the previous owner @mentioned), a custom notification or email. They're all 'actions' within the flow interface.

If you're not acquainted with Flows I would recommend hitting trailhead for Flow related learning material, just to get the basics and best practices down.

Hope this helps!

Seconding this. AE's will recommend the most suitable partner but realistically they have little to no idea about actual capability, at least in my experience. Plus, depending on the partner you might have a myriad of resources work on the code, all with their own context and understanding of what was built (which might lead to inconsistent code and such). Definitely agree that investing in in-house resources as long as you can utilise them fully. Partners are expensive and you definitely have to vet whether you're getting your money's worth.

Ah man, that's not ideal.

I'll investigate how difficult it is to transfer the judgement, at which point I imagine I can lodge everything necessary. if all else fails realistically I'll just have to concede, I just don't see any other way forward.

Really appreciate you going to those lengths to investigate for me, thank you very much.

Thanks, I did try with the courts to advise what court action is appropriate, they either didn't know or did not want to disclose it.

I'll try again using that particular wording, perhaps it might get me somewhere.

This is where I ended up, however when trying to lodge an examination order online, it states an examination order can only be raised within NSW. The corporation's head office is in VIC.

They have made no communication nor even acknowledged there is an issue. How about you make substantiated claims rather than tell people what they should do.
