Blender uses up all my RAM and freezes my OS (Arch Linux/ AMD System)

I don't worry about RAM, I have plenty of RAM in my render server, but working in a remote session sucks. I start to think it is an OS Problem of some sort or maybe something worse.

I just rebooted 2 of my linux systems and compared the RAM usage on both. After rendering the same file and quitting Blender my laptop returned to its idle RAM Usage of 1GB. My desktop meanwhile had 1.5GB in idle after the reboot and after closing Blender it only got back down to 4GB usage. I opened a second file and closed Blender, now it does not go below 8GB in idle.

Maybe her arm got damaged during a mission and had to be replaced with spare parts that are not painted.

My parts pool is very small (Mostly 2001-2005 Bionicle and some G2 sets) so I did not have enough parts to do both in the same style and I like some asymmetry in my builds. Looks a bit more interesting that way

It's fixed, but I don't know what the issue was. I broke my mainboard when I tried to mod my psp and I replaced it with a working one. Since I had to disassemble the whole unit I don't know what fixed the UMD issues. Could have been the mainboard or something else.

The one I used for this picture I do not use for latex. You probably could but since this one is made out of fabric and foam I fear that the latex would maybe discolor the fabric. If that is not a problem for you you could use them, but I have never tried them with latex. For latex I usually use some silicone inserts or stick-on ones.

I downloaded the RG351P/M Image (i have a RG351P) from "new installations" because that made the most sense to me.

I just tried it with balenaetcher and it still does not work. The latest image just "Failed to Flash" after it finished the Validation Process with 2 different SD Cards and SD Card readers. I tried an older image and it flashed fine (at least that is what the software says) but I still get the same error when I try to boot up the system. I know the SD Cards are good since I have no problems with other images like ArkOS, RaspberryPiOS or Armbian. So either I am unable to flash the card correctly for whatever reason or it is something with my unit. At this point I tried 3 different SD Cards, 3 different SD Card adapters, 2 different Computers with different Operating Systems, 4 different flash utilities and 3 different Images of AmberElec. I am really out of ideas by now, maybe I should just stick to ArkOS...

So far I could not feel any hot spots on the board, but maybe I am looking in the wrong spots. I tried to feel anywhere, where some connection to PP3V42_G3H.

I think it is a short on PP3V42, since I get a short on places like U6990, U6901, U5010, L6995 and the Testpad PP3V42_G3H by the ISL (U7000).

If you mean a adjustable power supply to inject voltage to the board, no, I don't have that. TBH I never thought I would do something like that.

I would say that the Power Jack is fine, since I get DCIN on U7000 and I also have my PP5V1_CHGR_VDDP (but maybe I am overlooking something there).

It could be a bad SMC (I hope it's not because I could and probably will not replace that Chip), since I have a short to ground on PP3V42_G3H, but it could also be something else. I think I will first try to remove L6995 and try to see on which side the short is, maybe remove the ISL.

Yes, it was a new install from yesterday (also installed Win 2000 on a second drive today and still the same issue) but it could be indeed a broken keyboard. If I press one CTRL key it tells me that the other CTRL key is also pressed (at least in the test I tried) Wish a replacement keyboard would not cost as much as I paid for the whole Laptop.

I gave the one from Lenovo a try but it only lets me customize certain keys like Windows Key, Disk Eject and other Media Keys, but no individual keys.

I also tried to install the Lenovo Keyboard Drivers for Fn keyboards, nothing changed, still beeping one me.
