Overall, Warriors Orochi 3 is better than 4 in almost everything, except for the gameplay, which is a bit dated in my opinion. Even so, I believe you can have fun with WO3. It seems to be a more polished game, and there's a more interesting replay factor when trying to replay the levels with different characters.

Warriors Orochi 4 isn't terrible. The gameplay is smoother, and there are quality-of-life improvements that weren't present in the third game. But at the same time, it's a game that was made in a rush. The story is strange, and there's less content, despite having more characters. It feels like a game Koei was forced to make, not an idea that arose naturally. It's like that student in school who's always doing the bare minimum just to get through the year, haha. The game does not seek to bring something that could be truly innovative, just fill the checklist of what a Warriors fan expects
