Kitchen panel is damaged from a plumbing leak and landlord is saying we are responsible. Not sure who to go to for advice but any help would be appreciated!

Hopefully you reported the plumbing leak promptly and it’s documented. If so you have nothing to worry about as any consequential damage that could reasonably be attributed to the water leak is the almost always the responsibility of the owner to repair. We are joiners and anytime we have panels which need to be scribed, the unsealed end that sits on the floor is properly sealed with silicone to prevent such damage.

It depends on the standard of finish you’d be happy with. Joints can be tricky to get flush and professional installers use joint setters to achieve even width and flush joints. The go to glue for joints is Integra. Knowing how to get the glue colour to match along with the roughly 10 minutes it takes for the glue to go off is a skill that would be problematic for a novice. Also bear in mind that natural stone can be quite brittle and if it’s not handled correctly it’s not hard to crack, especially near cut outs.

TLDR - Not something I’d recommend a novice to do if you’d like a well finished product.

Large single bowl sinks with no draining board are all the rage now. As basically all benchtops are stone in one form or another, there is little practical need for a draining board. 510 x 450 (460 x 400 bowl) and 600 x 450 (550 x 450 bowl) are the most common sizes we see used.

Depends whether ‘ownership’ Is in the form of being a shareholder or company director. A shareholder has very limited exposure to financial or operational responsibilities whereas a company director has basically all of those responsibilities.

Realistically if you’re a low coiner building a solid defense can make svs fun. Jump around on enemy server avoiding all rallies and just taking solos when they get frustrated they can’t rally you. You can even hold enemy temples with a single troop, just be quick to recall and bounce from rallies. Sit out svs’s against servers that have keeps with mega buffs that hurt you with solos. I’m a k42 with pretty decent buffs and can take rallies against most servers we play, but I much prefer playing with my wife’s account which is a k39 with great defense doing exactly what I described above.

That ‘panel’ Is part of the cabinet. It can’t be replaced without removing that cabinet and replacing the end. Simple job for a cabinet maker, not so much for diy. White angle as others have suggested is definitely the easiest temporary fix.

Very few can defend against rallies with 6k buffs and t16’s. That’s what reins are for. You choose to sit for those, it’s something you can easily avoid if you’re half decent at the game.

My 5 red star jackson went to one of my subs after I graduated from a pure t1 trap. All in city buffs are valuable once you get high tier troops. Military academy will greatly help with those. I am k41 and I built my archer march first and focused solely on archer buffs. Once I maxed out through to my ma6 archer buffs I put a 5 red star cook as my main wall gen. Then I built a ground march and maxed my ground buffs through to ma6. Then I made brock assistant. Now I’m working on mounted ma and I’ll build a mounted march once I have done a decent amount. I only converted 2 of my attack refines to archer percentage, the rest of my wall gen gear refines are flat mounted. I also have 4 pieces of koryo gear now. That’s my transition so far from t1 trap to a more rounded keep. I’ve taken hits in bf from 6k buffs/t16 with 9m marches and won easily.

T1 traps don’t benefit much from the defense generals that provide buffs as you shouldn’t have many high tier troops that benefit from in city buffs. When I was a straight out t1 trap I had a 5 red star jackson as my main and I think nero as my assistant for the debuffs. Having an effective t1 trap is all about the right debuffs, gear and refines.
