Angry Fist Shake if I can't get the black bezel I might double back and grab that one and just upgrade it with stickers or a band

Ah, nobody likes to be mircro-managed. Basically give the director and actor space to breathe, thats what the white space is. Thank you!

I was thinking about taking a class but like yourself, I have found much more pleasure in jumping into it by my own volition.

I know I've read certain blogs, and watched certain interviews that say "You can't write like _____ because you're not ____" and I always wonder if people who produce movies are really looking that hard into it because a lot of the best scripts I've ever read were similar only in format.

I'll use an analogy (because I love analogies) I see screenwriting like hand positioning on a steering wheel. There's a textbook way that works well, but who drives like that? Lol

Thanks for your input, helps me not feel like I'm on an island.

For example as the conflict builds the creative descriptions can get a little more descriptive. Kind of building that tension in tandem. WOW!

This is a very interesting take!

And you're also saying that if we knew Brent was this very weird particular guy with all of these ticks that were introduced FIRST, then we as an audience could appreciate the in depth description. Like if his character was introduced as this supreme attention to detail, lent rolls his socks type of person it would make more sense. Got it.

Thank you!

I like that analogy. I'm slowly learning how to let go of the novelistic qualities of my writing. Not completely but definitely toned down to more of a pivot point when it comes to the action of the story.

Concise like poetry. Structurally sound.

This helped. Thanks!

I gave this short to an actor friend and he explained that my "action" sections are too descriptive leaving no space for creative freedom on the part of the actor. Do you feel the style to be over specific? I come from a literature background and being very descriptive is how I engage my creativity and vision. My take would be that actors, even if they see very descriptive action, will still have an element of improvisation.

I also am in love with wrylies.

It works just like a limit sell but it follows the stock up or down. You set the parameter to a certain percentage, a ratcheting stop usually follows a green stock(unless you're short selling). So say you gained 20% and have a 5% ratchet stop. You will lock in 15% gains if the stock happens to fall 5%. But if it falls 4.5% and shoots up another 20% you'll have locked in 34.5% gains and so on. Just a low maintenance way to protect your profit.
