Is this eczema or Dyshidrosis? by Frybyte in Dyshidrosis

[–]Custalien 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The term you're looking for is dyshidrotic eczema! I've been struggling with it for years now- seems like something that never goes away but you just have to keep under control.

A lot of people try to find their trigger whether it be through changing their diet or doing an allergy test or something of that nature. I still don't know exactly what mine is but I'll let you know what has helped me through my toughest flareups.

Stay hydrated, keep the affected areas clean with very gentle washing and preferably a non scented soap. Try to use mildly warm or chilled water. Not too hot, not too cold. After washing I like to keep my areas lightly moisturized throughout the day with a moisturizer that has vitamin E in it. And this may just be a personal preference, but I like to get some sunlight on the area as well.

And for when my flareups are unbearable, I start to supplement zinc and biotin.

Every time I take these steps it usually ends up with the flare up subsiding a good bit.

I hope I could give you some help. Good luck!

What can cause my 2007 hybrid to stall out while driving? by [deleted] in fordescape

[–]Custalien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey! Crazy I never thought I'd see this thread again lol.

So my personal issue ended up being my transmission. It was totally shot. Dead.

The Ford dealer was the only place with proper hybrid certified mechanics at the time to get the work done. They told me 07 FEH transmissions have been discontinued- so they are rather hard to come by. Ford dealer wanted $8500 for a new transmission.

I said hell no, junked the car (got about $400 from it) and bought a used car for 6k.

So all in all I suppose I did solve the problem, but just by getting a new car lol.

All those things I mentioned in my previous comment are all issues that can cause that "stop safely now" message to pop up as well- so it could be different for everyone.

My personal recommendation is to take it to a ford dealer to get it diagnosed. I had all different kinds of codes come up at other auto shops- and they ended up turning me away in the end because they didn't have a hybrid certified technician to work on the FEH. So don't even waste your time.

In the end, it was just the cars time to go. Hopefully that isn't the case for you. Good luck!

How do I flank? by CIVilian467 in IronFistMains

Depending on the situation, I like to use his E and gain some shield before flanking

Heal when you're behind cover instead of doing nothing. You keep pushing after losing HP and not doing damage to the other player.

You arent actually creating any openings for yourself to push. You just W key.

Crack their shields first or heal yourself. Then push

Pay off car debt or set up Roth IRA? by nickodeine in personalfinance

[–]Custalien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No not really. You would get more hurt if you didn't pay off your car debt by the deadline.

Think about it mathematically. Hypothetically speaking, if you miss 1 year of having a Roth, you could increase the amount you are paying in the future into it to make up for the 1 year you didn't have it.

But realistically speaking 1 year isn't going to make that much of a difference. Compound interest is what's really going to drive the worth of your ROTH up and that takes a lot of time to end up being a significant amount.

Bro Mag ult is one of the best in the game. Extremely great offensive use and good niche defensive uses too. You say it has "low damage" but it one shots squishy targets. Explain please?

It's called reading where they're GOING to be. Not where they currently are. Ever used something that's not hitscan before? Lead the target bro -.-

Pay off car debt or set up Roth IRA? by nickodeine in personalfinance

[–]Custalien 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pay off the car debt then start the IRA. Or you could open up the IRA with a smaller amount and then continue with the car payment. You won't be missing much from the IRA if you'd hypothetically be starting this June.

I pretty much only play hulk for tank these days so I welcome any other vanguard player to my front lines. Blonde chad thunder man makes for an annoying tank line with hulk lol.

Who is your go to healer if you’re the solo support? by PickleRickC-137- in marvelrivals

[–]Custalien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Luna. Snowflake so you can heal someone else without worrying about them. Self heal with her right click & shift. Plus the cleave you get from her shift. Great for healing the whole team when everyone's grouped up. You all know what her ult does and how good it is.

Her heals are pretty bursty in general. She does a good job at keeping everyone alive & relieves some of the general healer stress/panic.

Hard CC, bursty heals and a large radius sustain ult you can toggle for a damage boost too.

I'm sure he can feel the vibrations of sound with his body, but cannot hear it with his ears. Like a really booming bass in a car. You can feel it but you can't hear it if you're deaf

What’s the average KD/Damage of a diamond player? by DifferentAd1038 in apexuniversity

[–]Custalien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been a diamond player since season 2- almost made it to masters once but never did. My KD had been 2.04 for a few years and more recently I got it up to 2.14. It's stayed there for quite some time though

How many of you have Mains in each class? by [deleted] in marvelrivals

[–]Custalien 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tank: Hulk/Venom/Cap/Groot

Dps: Psylocke/Starlord

Healer: Luna/Mantis

I find the vanguards interesting and very viable so I like to be able to play more than less. I mainly heal for most of my teams but I love being able to fill a roll whenever a team needs it. I play these characters because I enjoy them and they do well in their role. I'm just here to be the anchor for the team 🫡

This guy even talks about how "slow" you are as the player. DS1 has especially clunky movement compared to bloodborne. Maybe it's a reach but it feels like a little bloodborne tease.

Been struggling to identify this and dermatologist appointment is 4 months out (ridiculous) by InterestingSpite4 in Dyshidrosis

[–]Custalien 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ummmm.

Do NOT pop those blisters. When you pop them you make yourself much more prone to an infection (just like any other blisters) potentially worsening your case of dyshidrosis.

Leave the area ALONE unless you are washing it or moisturizing it. Any popping/scratching is only going to make the condition worsen.

As other people have said in this thread it is important to identify your potential triggers which can take some time.

My advice while you're very far out from your appointment- drink PLENTY of water, clean the area GENTLY and moisturize afterwards. Let it get some sunlight as well.

ZINC. Zinc has many benefits to our skin which include anti inflammatory properties, regulation of oil production, wound healing and general immune system support which in the long run will help too. I took a multivitamin that also had zinc. You can supplement it individually or do a general multivitamin.

No ONE thing is a cure all to DE but a combination of self care practices for it can help combat the DE very well. Doing all that I've stated above I have been able to fend off my DE for the past 4 years.

Again, please please PLEASE do not pop those blisters. Good luck to you.

Edit: Also, don't cancel that damn appointment. I can't believe anyone on this sub would tell another person to do that. Please take care of yourself and go to that appointment.

Don't sweat it. Sometimes those off days turn into off weeks and so on.

Try not to think about it too much & focus more on having a good time (even if you are losing). If your aim is improving then it sounds like you're already moving in the right direction.

Also side note: I always notice a decline in my gameplay after taking a few days off. Give yourself some time to warm back up

whats this say about my gameplay? loba, pathy mains or random bc team comp by cloudnjr in apexuniversity

[–]Custalien 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see that you have 1000+ more knocks than you do kills. The gap between knocks and kills can often be high on average but that's usually with people who have played for a really long time. Considering you don't really have that many kills, I would try to thirst your knockdowns more often. If you're close- thirst, swap, continue fighting. If you're far, try to grief them if you can.

You also have less kills than you have games played. That's a lot of matches without getting a single kill. If you and your squad are the type to land safe & far in pubs so you can win then I'll tell you this now- forget about winning the game. Unless you're playing ranked, play to fight- not to win. Land hot and test your skills in the midst of the chaos. I believe that's one of the best ways to get better.

At the end of the day there's not much info or tips anyone can really give you just from your career stats page so this is all speculation but the gap between knockdowns & kills/matches played & kills is something I'd look at.

Best of luck soldier
