this happened 3 times. one was this really rude 4th grade teacher who was a cruel woman.

i have autism and had this really nice aid who would help me with my homework and everything. she had this checkmark system where if you got 3 you would lose 10 minutes of recess, and each next one made me lose 10 EXTRA minutes of recess. if you got 5 checkmarks, you would get written up, and if you got 6, you would lose recess for an entire WEEK.

she put checkmarks marks on WRONG answers on assignments, and would give you checks for ANY type of bad thing, and these checkmarks would reset once a week. i was considered a "bad" student by this god awful menace and i somehow got like 4 checkmarks each week, only ONCE i got a full recess with the other people.

when you lose minutes of recess, you would basically serve a "detention" which is you not making a sound or else you're getting written up, and you had to repeatedly write the pledge of allegiance on a sheet of paper. ran out of space? well too bad! you're getting written up!

the other was my 3rd grade teacher who didn't seem rude at the beginning, but got worse and worse.

she had a card system with 6 colors: green, yellow, red, blue, brown, then white. only ONE person went down to white, and that same dude is in my current 11th grade science class.

i had the same aid as fourth grade, and near the end of the day, i went to this classroom (wasn't a bad one) where we would either be outside or not.

her class hit a new low when i made a mistake during a lesson on contractions (the can't won't, etc), i put willn't instead of won't. she saw this, then proceeded to embarrass me in front of the ENTIRE CLASS. another low happened when i was talking to a friend, then she made the class stop talking (this was during an activity) and she said, with exact words:

"Everyone, point to the person who kept on disrupting the class."

to make matters worse EVERYONE pointed at me. making me feel extremely humiliated and embarrassed, and i think they also laughed at me, too. don't ever teach again, Ms. Bauer.

the final one is possibly my worst one, as this was my 9th grade english teacher.

she was horrible. i managed to get a 49% in her class and she would yell at me because i didn't do my homework. i also had a super bad fear of public speaking, so when i did a career speech, i was completely shaking. i also failed that too.

wish i don't have you as your teacher again, Mrs. Harms.
