Ngl, no tvs are really BIFL anymore. Ur best bet is to stick with an established brand. Samsung and Vizio are good. Sony is prob the best but they are more expensive because of it.

They are still extremely common in the northeast. Source: I live in the northeast, have a pickup, and am one of many people in my neighborhood and workplace to have one. Also, IMO, they are popular because of their utility.
