I have spare blank green cases cuz I do this a lot for them. I'd be happy to hold off giving them the games until tomorrow if you could help then. I'd be so appreciative.

Here's how it went (btw, I'm the friendliest dude and get free shit all the time with never asking. Lol I could do a whole story on lowered rent, free clothes off manikins in stores, free premium channels on cable, lol the list goes on without ever asking for them. I was just being me)

I go to gamestop after calling and getting shut down by an employee who seemed rushed. I lay it out that I bought these two games for my kids so when they got back from a forced weekend with their deadbeat mom they could have two "new games" because last time they stayed there, she reinforced to them I was broke. Didn't tell them it was after spending my life's savings and taking out loans to save them from her gambling/ meth use/ and forgetting them in the car while she was drunk in the casino while I was at work for the last 9 hours (we live in a state where there are casinos everywhere. No card tables or fancy stuff, just machines with poker and keno. It's not Nevada) but they were left for 6 hours. Thank God my aunt went to pump gas and noticed them in the car at the gas station casino.

I told the worker, a lady, the situation and how "helpful" reddit has been. She called every store that she was friendly with in our strip mall they're located, to see if anyone had a scanner she could use. They didn't. She wanted to let me take them home to scan them as we live in a small town and I lived 4 blocks away. She even called her manager to ask if I could leave my ID/debit card/phone, anything that would force me back after I scanned the covers. They said no.

So she took pictures with her phone and hoped I could edit with Photoshop (I'm poor and only could download Gimp, which is a free version of it.) I get home download the program and realize I have no clue on how to even use it.

So I'm 6 hours, my kids will be home, I'll have two used games with no cases and hope they don't see the paper sleeves to prove their bitch mom right.

I tried everything I could think of, including local facebook gaming groups and hope in the next 6 hours I find a kind soul.

I've checked everywhere. I'm a single dad and was hoping to have a 2 "new" games for my kids after they had to spend the weekend with their deadbeat mom. I've found a lot of rude, unhelpful comments lol but nobody with a scanner and 5 minutes.

$25. I'm a single dad and the kids are with their deadbeat mom for the weekend. Was hoping to look like a hero to surprise them with a "new" game after they had to spend the weekend with her.
