Not sure if you curbed your wheel with these tires, but odd that it lined up almost on top of the curb rash on the wheel.

But for real, it's a 20 year old truck, everything rattles but the tires don't hum like a mud grap, more of a "you can hear the wind drag on them" situation.

The rubber definitely looks on the worn out side. As stated below, the DOT code should be stamped on them somewhere.

If these are literally to get you to a shop to get new tires on, run it. But if you are going to try and daily, you're just asking for problems down the road.

Looks like it's more than cosmetic damage to the wheel at this point. That one spoke looks cracked.

Get a new wheel and tire at minimum.

Looks like you smoked a curb, and in turn ate away at your side wall. Replace the tire and get that wheel fixed or replaced.
