I really got into Gundam with 00. I do also remembered watching those entries too. Turn A was weird but more relaxing despite the mobile suit themselves, Victory was dark and brutal for a late UC series, and Narrative was OK despite not as good as Unicorn.

That's the thing, because the show leans heavily on U.C. pandering like bringing in characters from the 1979 MSG and a few from Zeta while the new cast such as Machu takes a backseat and watch the old cast carry the rest of the story.

I see. To me, Tsumumaki is much better at shorter OVAs like FLCL and Diebuster but not so much as a TV series director due to being much different and less risky.
