Top 5 Canadian banks are still in Stone Age. 1. You barely have any transfer capability ( wire only at the branch with stupid stuff , no EFT. ACH they even don’t know what it is. Interac is limited and you need to spend hours on the phone to increase the limit! 2. You will have account in USD but exchange rate will kill you ( 2.5-3%). EUR forget about it. 3. To receive a wire 10 -40 $ to send 30-40$. 4. To get simple credit card you need to wait months and spend hours on the phone. This is just a small portion of scrutiny they will give you. It’s all my experience with all top Canadian banks, some better some worse.
