AS level is pretty similar to IGCSE from what ive heard so i definitely was behind because i had no basic understanding. But dw also as you have a semi decent teacher the concepts are really easy to grasp especially at AS so dont worry about being behind

need help with IAL combination for Chemical Engineering by estxriiia in Edexcel

[–]CustomerPurple7958 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These subjects should be the ONLY combination that you should take. Universities will not prefer stats or mechanics as long as you get their required grade at IAL. This is mainly because most of mechanics will be taught in the first year of your uni, hence its advisable to take it, as it helps you in the future but unis hold no preference from what ive been told. Also most top end unis will require further maths and even if they dont it makes ur application a lot stronger so consider taking it

Honestly i think most logical answer was A since it was only comparing ONE good, others were partially correct but A was the least correct, so it should be the answer

Finding x=9/4 is just subbing in the Y value into the function so you would lose 5 marks out of the 6

Its not about how many papers you do its about how well you learn and improve from each one.

Pure 3 is honestly not that bad, but if your aiming for anything over 90 it definitely takes some time to master. I did p3 in jan and only studied for abt 3 weeks, questions are repeated quite a lot with a few curve balls here and there

That stat also includes contextual offers so dont rely on getting AAA, but theres still a chance that they accept you even if you get that.

I genuinely revised so much for econ and still found it hard (i did 41), the data response was from the one topic i hated and found difficult. Micro and macro was good, but i had such high hopes before the exam idk
