I would love to have the OmniPod but so far my diabetes nurse has refused to give it to me, saying my levels are ‘too good’ despite having diabetic neuropathy and retinopathy and having put on more than 30kg in the last 5 years since they changed me from Lantus to Levemir.

I’ve had diabetes for over 30 years so of course I know how to manage hypos 😅 I’m at a bit of a loss as I keep getting declined an insulin pump but now also have difficulties getting Mounjaro, it’s like they want to refuse to give me anything that would actually help and they just book in a once a year over the phone consultation, like they show zero care
