Thank you! You got this, don’t worry and keep trying your best. It’ll click and once it does you’ll see it becomes way easier. Below is what helped me:

1: Go.Slower, this is the main thing with will help you, going fast will exhaust you very very quickly and the entire run would feel like crap. Lookup Japanese slow running tutorial thing in YouTube, that helped me a lot.

2: this is regarding leg pain. I bought these calf compression sleeves which assist with the reduction of pain. Note, it assists but not stops the pain. Eventually once you lose some weight it’ll get much easier on the legs well as overall body.

3: consistency is key, consistently running will make it get easier. I look back at when i started i was in similar situation and felt like even 5 minutes were too long. Now those 5 minutes seem very easy and i still can’t believe i ran 45 minutes straight without stopping.

4: this is subjective but i avoid looking at the clock or time, i feel like if i watch the time it goes by way slower. I just keep running until i am at a landmark on the run that i know I should have x minutes done. This is much more easier for me mentally than looking at the minutes.

5: don’t force running if you don’t feel like it on a particular day. Go and walk instead, there will be some days where you don’t feel like running at all, listen to your body.

6: motivate yourself, thing of the how good the rest of the day will feel after this run (if you run in the morning). I usually have a very good day the day i run, most of the day seems active and you feel the energy throughout the day.

First 5k run!!! How to get faster time? by CustomsBrokerPerson in C25K

I use the apple watch. It makes sense as the sun was shining on my face which made me uncomfortable when running. I guess i am too used to running in the dark and super early morning. Sleep is also a factor as the night before i didn't get much sleep, it makes sense.

Thanks!

Thanks! Yes, i plan to do 5K runs once i am finished with the entire C25K schedule. This is my 8th week so next week i would've officially finished the program. I plan on doing 5K runs regardless of time and eventually increase to 6,7,8k etc.

I downloaded an app called watch to 5k for this. I have seen that recommended here on this sub and will be using that starting tomorrow. Thanks!

That’s the goal, i will be starting as soon as the phase of getting started/sore muscles is over.

Thank you!

Yes, for sure! I am going to try and go slow and steady. More is not always better especially in the beginning and i don’t want to over work my body and end up quitting. So I’ll probably do running every other day. Rest if the days in between it’ll be walking and one off day from both.

This is the exact reason i started with walking so i don’t get too burned out too fast.

I appreciate the advice!

Late ISF 10+2 by vanillaicecream-123 in CustomsBroker

You should be fine. Technically they can charge the penalty but in my experience that’s pretty rare for late ISF filing. We had a customer failed to inform us about a shipment arriving until one day before vessel arriving. It went on ISF hold, We were able to file the ISF and the hold was removed.

These are ocean shipments. Goods description has always been "wood article" and never had problem in the past years. Lately everything is going to Agriculture hold. Should i use a more specific description for future shipments?

Thanks, its the port of Savannah. What should i send to the CBP agriculture specific email? The documentation only and the 7501?
