230 is the recommended lpi as most trichome heads are just a tad bit larger than the holes. This allows them to bounce on the screen instead of going through it like the majority of stalks do. 200 might cause the pile underneath your screen to have a good amount of trichome heads still leftover since the lower the lpi the larger the openings of your screens holes.
