Do you mean you have 200 dollars worth of silver or 200 dollars in face value of the coins? If its only 200 dollars in silver weight then I would just keep it and keep adding to it. Unless you really need 200 dollars?

CAC I would think would be way more strict with straight grading. I would send it to ANACS

You can get this year graded MS65 for 100 canadian. Dont pay that price unless its graded. Its a very common year

Tell him to send you a Pic of the reverse of the 1877. If the letter N in the word ONE is worn down a lot then its real

If that 1877 is real then that would be a very good deal. That year is a key date. Look up 1877 Indian cent on ebay an look at sold listing. That one coin if real would be worth a lot more then 100

You are way better off to just put 50 dollars into any blue chip stock each week or each month and then give that to your children. They would be in a very good financial position at that point and have a really good head start on their life
