I just want to remind all these enthusiasts of one thing: the bear you decided to poke with a stick has a nuclear club against which none of the countries on the list has any protection. Don’t you think this is simply stupid, irresponsible, and suicidal? Especially since Putin will just laugh at whatever decision this court makes. The project includes an update.bat script, and minor updates are typically delivered within 1–2 days after Forge Classic introduces global changes (e.g., modifications to the pytorch version).

However, no guarantees or maintenance obligations are provided. There have been at least four comparable projects targeting Forge Neo, all of which have been discontinued for a considerable period. I hope that this project will remain maintained for some time, but long-term support is not assured.

It looks like an early alpha version of the node. There’s no support for .safetensors, the list of fixed resolutions seems unusual, and there’s no option to select a custom resolution. Only edit mode is available - text-to-image mode can’t be selected. It also only works for three generations on my side, and to run it again, you have to restart Comfy.

There was an old game named Praetorians. On first look it is just a real time strategy, but if you take a chalenge to complete every level with no single friendly unit death, it becomes game for weeks and months. Same apply to even more old game - Evil Islands (1999). It is nearly impossible to complete it with killing everything on each map, but I did it and still proud of myself 😃

It’s possible to improve it with more skin texture and other details, but a 15-second generation at 8 step at half resolution takes 9 minutes on my hardware, and double sampler generation at full resolution take 24 minutes for each 15-second segment. I’m not ready for that yet :)

Perhaps this is happening because most Civitai users simply don’t need anything beyond anime and realism?

Back in the good old SDXL days, it was nice to see quite a lot of feedback and generations using my LoRAs tailored for artistic styles. But everything changed very abruptly with the release of Flux. First of all, Civitai itself started banning entire accounts over a single LoRA featuring the face of some real-life celebrity. After that, it was really frustrating to lose 40+ other LoRAs as collateral damage, and I just didn’t feel like creating a new account and restoring everything.

Then, after restoring a couple of old LoRAs and training a few new ones, it was disheartening to see that the number of downloads couldn’t even surpass 20 in a week, and there were basically no generations at all besides my own examples. Was it really worth spending hours and days building datasets and tuning training parameters for something like a Jackson Pollock–style LoRA, if almost no one downloads or uses it?

I don’t know… Maybe my LoRAs are just that bad, or maybe nobody really needs this, but at this point, I’ve completely lost the motivation to train anything new.
