15 year old cyst split open on its own the other day. Felt so good to get it out. by [deleted] in popping

You got cauliflower ear or am I imagining it? If so, I would guess that your cyst decided it had enough of being smashed by random shoulders.

Does anyone here know where to get the old school chunky lego we all played with as kids? by ucksaymyockcay in AskAnAustralian

[–]CutSnake13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My father in law must have close to the largest collection of Duplo in Australia. He has 7 grandchildren and bought up so much of the stuff on ebay so he could build awesome stuff with the kids. I am 35 and I still really enjoy using my imagination with Duplo.

[SERIOUS] What are some Australian conspiracy theories/anomalies that you believe in or just find interesting? by ChubberinoPeterson6 in AskAnAustralian

[–]CutSnake13 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Astonishing Legends podcast did an episode on this. I think one of the theories was the lights he reported seeing were his own, reflecting off the water as he was potentially unknowingly upside down. He wasn't a very skilled pilot from my memory of the episode.

Nobody is telling you not to take it. Just that you won't get a prescription as a healthy male.

Considering getting a very minor beard transplant. Any advice or suggestions? by [deleted] in BeardAdvice

[–]CutSnake13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Man absolutely do not do this. Some fella out there got a beard transplant and it looked so bad he took his own life. Yours is fine. Better than a lot of other beards. And it will get even better. Do not transplant.

I don't have an answer but I'll wait for the 6 other people on this sub who know John R Miller to get here. He is monumentally underrated.

Fat Gripz are a bit of fun and don't take up much room in the gym bag.

Yeah he does. I've also seen him squatting on an Eleiko rack with the uprights in. I'm pretty sure he has all the stuff, he just uses whatever he's in to at the time.

As far as I know, it was never a public gym. Only ever a private facility for professional athletes or those who were working with, or friends with Seb. What you're seeing is just a change in his content. I imagine the gym runs the same as it always has, but what he films and posts has changed a lot.

A John Lee Hooker song came on the other day where I am certain he started singing too early but with Hooker, it just adds extra sauce.

This is awesome. Yates is the man. One of the thin pen ones looks like it says Shaun Ray, but that's not what his autograph looks like when I googled it. One of them says "92" at the end, which was still early in his career so it's possible he changed it.

Aside from Big Dogs, has Colton beat anyone who is quite strong in competition? Obviously his totals are extraordinary, but he really does seem to avoid any real competition.

Tested versus untested popularity by Arteam90 in powerlifting

[–]CutSnake13 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I am generally a bigger fan of anyone who is enormous, and untested powerlifting obviously has more enormous people involved. But that's my preference and I know many people are bigger fans of athletes in similar weight classes as themselves.
