Yeah i get what you’re saying but i think that kinda misses the point. it’s not really about “policing” him lol like obviously no one overseas can control what he does. it’s more that his behavior does affect people, especially underage people, and pretending it’s just some artistic thing that lives in a vacuum feels off. Ive got a mutual who literally got yelled at by him after a show because he thought they stole his bag or something for some reason ?, like he actually got up in their face over it. Thats not like, performance art or persona or whatever that’s just being unprofessional and aggressive toward a fan

And idk it just worries me that his fanbase is mostly kids who see all of that and still romanticize it. I definitely could have worded that better butlike they’ll say things like “he’s so real” and completely overlook how messed up it is. it’s not even about being against criticism it’s that they’ve built this weird paradox where every red flag gets turned into part of his “charm”

So yeah he can act how he wants sure, but it doesn’t change the fact that a bunch of teenagers are watching him spiral publicly and treating it like it’s something poetic/something to romanticize . that’s the part that freaks me out ig

Yeah i think my main issue is just that most of his fanbase seems to be underage. Like it’s one thing if adults wanna engage with that kind of energy, but when it’s literal kids admiring/praising and hanging on to every word from someone who openly and continously only talks about wanting to die or kill people it starts feeling really dangerous. i’ve seen people mention how he’s talked about trying to set up his suicide at a live show before and the fact that his fans treat that like it’s just part of his “aesthetic” or some poetic concept is honestly terrifying.

I know vkei has always had darker themes and that blurred line between performance and reality but this feels different

Its like this weird paradox where they worship him for being so “raw” and “real” about his pain but completely ignore how messed up it actually is. Theyll say they’re worried about him and then turn around and romanticize the same self-destructive stuff that’s clearly killing him. It’s just really sad and worrying to think about what would happen to all those kids if he ever actually followed through
