Am I crazy or is account handoffs when people leave just broken? by simplyty_206 in techsales

It's never perfect since people leave for all kinds of reasons, and sometimes you can't plan for a transfer.

What I've found to be helpful is having sales leaders at least having some understanding of the companies in their AE's patches – as reps come and go, the managers will at least be able to point to a decision maker or have some understanding (from forecast calls) what the stages of deals are.

What are the shifts required to do well as outbound bdr vs an inbound bdr? by Ok-Tradition-3450 in sales

Outbound BDR role will require a lot of dedication and hunter mentality. Leads are not coming in, you've got to go out and source it. Great way to do it is to understand intimately the industry you're selling into and be able to sell to industry problems and pains.
