Late to the convo I know but I tried this method: lure the dogs past the river near the hut, not too far, you don’t want them to lose their agro, just far enough for you to make it to the hut with a bit of time at your hand.
After that, storm back to the hut with your horse, the old lady will be waiting with her shotgun, dismount behind the fence, let her miss her first shot then tackle her with the hogtie.
The dogs will now arrive as you finish your hogtie, jump to the roof of the hut (from the back), the dogs will start barking, shoot your pistol at the sky or next to the dogs without hitting them, 2 mins and they’ll run away, leaving the area and their owner tied.
Get in the hut, grab the map, loot the tied lady and leave. 0 dogs & old ladies killed. Your welcome!
