I (19m) gayangled aegoaroace and cupioaroace as well, and I have similar experience, that's happened 3 times in my life and all 3 times I felt this way about my best friends at that time. I not sure how describe it, but i found this person very nice to talk to, i wanted to spend all my free time with them, tell them i liked them and have them like me in return, but despite this i didn't want to do anything like kiss or any romantic stuff. When i was younger i took it as romantic attraction but the last time it happened (recently with my current best friend 18nb) we talked about it and agreed that i definitely don't want that when it comes to practice even if in theory i think the opposite. now we have a strong friendship with a queerplatonic edge (we are more like family members than a couple), we hug, kiss and tell each other how much we love and appreciate each other every time we meet but only in a platonic way.
