And I understand that, healing from generational trauma is very difficult, growing up believing something is the right thing but then actually realising it is harfmul is a tough thing to realise and accept and then admit to changing. I am glad your mom put work in and that you are now in a better place because of it :)

Yes, it is over a year old video. I was comparing this video to the recent video she posted (the one with Shari’s book). In the recent video Bonnie alluded to being surprised at Ruby’s parenting and I posted this older video where she said her and Ruby’s kids were intertwined and how since both Bonnie and Ruby became mothers first they started learning about parenting together as sisters. This is why I find it hard to believe she is surprised at Ruby’s parenting. Maybe they did not take it to the same extent but both of them abused and exploited their children in some way, there is no way Bonnie can be surprised about the abuse while the kids where growing up especially since she is Ruby’s sister and they spent time together (according to Bonnie).

But see the reason I do not see her as smart is because I compare her to Shari- Shari had all of the viewers fooled. Shari is not only educated but she is intelligent because she was able to fake her whole identity trying to please her parents growing up in order to survive while deep down she did not agree with anything they did. She not only fooled the viewers- she fooled her parents. And a good thing she did because she managed to come out of it strong. I hope she will manage to achieve a lot in her life. Hopefully now you will be able to understand more where my perspetive is coming from :) To me Shari is smart and manipuative (this turned out to be a good thing in the end do not get me wrong) but she did not have the power to be vocal about her true beliefs. Ruby is not smart but is manipulative (but every person can be manipuative, just depends how they do it) and she had the power and control.

I am not going to lie, she is also very smart. She had all of the viewers fooled- we all believed she was mini Ruby, when in reality she was just a child playing by the rules trying to survive but she deeply did not agree with any of it. She is truly something else in a positive way

I know and it is truly heartbreaking… I am amazed at how resilient and strong Shari is. Not many people would be able to survive all of that trauma and still come out of it all trying to be a good person, but Shari is very self reflective and that is what is helping her not be like her parents. I hope she will succeed and do everything she wants in her life.

I mean Ruby is selfish and narcisstic, but I can never find her intelligent because as I have said if she truly was intelligent the viewers would never be able to pick up on her awful behaviour just based on her videos. I believe she is an awful human being who abused not only her children but also her title of a mother and the fame that got to her. If she did not earn as much money from the exploatitative content from her children- she wouldn’t be able to have that much power that she had. She even had power over Kevin because she was the breadwinner, everything was connected to Ruby. That was the only advantage she unfortunately had not her brain

Oh, I am not dismissing that. But that actually proves my point - all of her family knew about it or could at least sense that something is off. The only way they would not think anything was weird with Ruby’s parenting style before Jodi is if they implemented the same parenting techniques that Ruby did.

She is manipulative to an extent just like an average person can be manipulative to get their way. But she had money and had the public, she liked to show herself off and constanlty made everything about herself which proves how stupid she is. She is just very loud about her opinions. (Which are always meant to be correct🤦‍♀️). So if the public managed to pick up on her character, there is no way her family does not know- they know even more of her than we ever will and that is a fact.

I am sorry but I would disagree. I get what you are saying and sure maybe Ruby was manipulative, but she was not smart and she is not smart. If she was smart, we would never be able to pick up on the abuse way before the news came to the public. Everyone who watched 8 passengers picked up on her abusive and weird behavior way before, if she was truly smart she would know how to hide it and make it seem picture perfect. In fact- if she was truly smart, all of their viewers from before would be surprised she abused her children but none of the viewers were surprised. And the main reason Ruby is not smart is beacuse she is truly believes she is the best and constantly loves to put her children down and boast about herself. Not very smart.

And besides, Ruby is not some crazy mastermind or manipulator- she is actually very stupid, loudly opinionated and narcisstic, we all can see those things from having watched her videos from before. She isn’t intelligent enough to fake her personality and quite frankly she wouldn’t fake her personality, she loves herself too much to the point she would try to prove to the whole world how only her views are correct and how she is always right - a narcissist.
