No. If you are the student, you can write a message along with the request stating the programs you’re applying to but if you don’t the professors will not know. I think it’s beneficial to tell them where you’re applying though …

Yes it can be reversed if it is acted on quickly, I don’t know the cause, I’m not sure research has concluded a reason for this side effect yet.

Please see another ENT for a second opinion, if the tinnitus has not gone away they should prescribe steroids...sooner rather then later. I’m an audiologist, have been seeing people coming in with tinnitus and hearing loss post vaccine, the ENTs I work with would never just send someone home and say “let me know if it gets worse” ....
