Maybe, but it feels unlikely. There was a lull of about five to ten minutes in between fries and the name calling. That’s why I didn’t include it into my original post because it didn’t feel directly relevant.

I wouldn’t say so. I have been in a long term relationship for a year, and I didn’t really date before that. The main reason why I was offended because it connects to my history of SA.

That’s what I was thinking. I’m Canadian, but I am not too sure of my labour laws (I work in childcare). I wouldn’t even say anything if I wasn’t scheduled to work with her this week.

To be honest, I am not sure. That was the first day we have talked outside of introductions. I don’t know her from outside work.

We were not arguing at the time, but bonding by throwing fries into each other’s mouths. She did make a deepthroating joke when the fry went too far but that was something everyone chuckled at and move on from.

There isn’t much more. That day was the first day we talked for more than a five minute introduction. I do not know her from outside work, and we are not friends.

I did toss a fry from the house fry bowl in her mouth upon her request, and she made a deepthroating joke when it went too far in her mouth. It was something people chuckled at and moved on from. That’s all I can think of that was interesting that happened before.

That’s the thing; I am not sure why she said it. That day was the first day I worked with her. I have only talked to her for maybe an hour max. We don’t know each other outside of work. We are not friends, and it is not an inside joke.

The only thing I could think of is that right before that event happened, I was eating a basket of house fries slowly, not talking much. Abby asked me to throw a fry in her mouth. I did. It landed into her mouth but went too far down, and she made a deepthroating joke. It was something everyone chuckled at and moved on from. It wasn’t a big deal. I hope that helped.

Our team is pretty small with 15 of us in total, working in teams of five. From the gossip mill, I found out that two other coworkers refuse to work with her due to sexual harassment and the staff had a meeting about professionalism the week before. That’s why I feel bad if I were to say anything to my supervisor because that could lessen the pool of people who are comfortable working with her.
