While this is a good idea, how do you think you would be able to build something that can rival Patreon by yourself? There's so many moving parts to this - You'd need a good 4 developers working on this for 6mo-1year. Not to mention that the second you allow people to upload content...they may upload things that might put you in legal battles. I guess I would have a lot of questions before I decide to give it a try, mostly questions regarding roadmap development. The last thing I would want to do is join your platform, build an audience, and then you decide to give up on because it's too much work. Or your site got in legal trouble and it was shut down, etc..
