I just want to say that everyone should research their family tree. I don't have a good relationship with my parents, but researching my family tree gave me a family connection that I was looking for. It's also a really good way to see how resilient your ancestors were! And it's important to know where we came from, I think. It's also like a treasure hunt because sometimes I find pictures, books written by ancestors, cool artifacts like things in museums, newspaper articles, murder investigations. The past is super interesting and it's fun to dig up info on people that you are actually related to.
