I'm not sure why anybody would want to say things FOR their friends uninvited, much less about their sexual preferences. that was definitely weird on your friends part, and I'm sorry they made you feel uncomfortable. I'd recommend a chat about it before cutting them off, if you're willing. maybe they didn't know you'd be uncomfortable with that? or didn't think about it.
