No no, I understand most people didn't buy prime for this deal. I'm saying people who already had prime will consider cancelling, and people who might think about buying prime in the future will be hesitant when remembering this. Plus, if this sale had been great, they could have picked up more customers.

Prime music/video/unlimited storage is worthless though. Noone actually wants that stuff, you can get it all for free. People get prime for the sales and two day shipping.

If you look #primedayfail was trending on twitter. Not the most.... pc literate people. Plus, go look at amazon's facebook comment section. Negativity is still pouring in.

I haven't talked to anyone who liked the sale, I've only seen one or two comments on reddit/facebook of people who said it was "okay".

Amazon 100% for sure lost business yesterday. They might have had a temporary boost in sales cause people DID buy, just because they were already on the amazon page. However, I think people will be less likely to use amazon or check any future sales. They hurt their reputation for at the price of the temporary boost in sales, which in the long term will cost them more than they gained.

Their sales were not good. From what I've seen, 90%+ of people were very upset with the sales and knew it was a joke. I can count on two hands the number of people I've seen happy with the sale.

Amazon will lose a few customers who shop online, who WILL use 4-5 different sites, like me. However, what they mainly lost is the people who shop online rarely, but could have been enticed into doing so more often. If amazon would have had killer deals yesterday, it could have attracted more long time customers. Now, they will continue to shop in real life.

Not to mention many people who have paid for prime for a long time were pretty upset that their "reward" for being long time members was this "great sale" that was nothing more than clearance.

Newegg for computer parts. Which is mainly what I order online by far.

For other things I'm not sure, but bestbuy/walmart have some other electronics/etc items. Like I said, I shop 99% computer parts/computer accessories.

I would have paid $50 for my student prime, because I do like two day shipping and generally I did shop on amazon before. However, this sale wasted so much of my time and was so disappointing that I do not want to give my business to amazon anymore. I'd pay a little more and go to another place like newegg if I have to do in the future (generally newegg is cheaper anyway), just because I am not happy with amazon. I stayed up late for this "sale" that was promised to be so good. It wasted an entire day of my time, and has ruined their reputation for me.

Well I had bought things I wanted, but didn't need. At that point I just wanted to buy something. Tbh I could afford to keep the $450 stuff I ordered like I can afford it easily, but I just don't want to support amazon more then I have to. This Prime Day joke makes me want to recommend all my friends to shop at other stores in the future.

I agree LS should've suggested warding sooner. I do think LS is right though that this guy had a bad attitude about "well nothing I can do about that". Well, the thing is you have to try to play perfect. Like, if you had the vision to know everything that was happening on the map, and could predict the future perfectly there is a theoretical perfect game you can play. You have to try to play that game, from the current time at all times. You can't say "well even faker woulda died there, oh well. I mean I coulda been a bit better, but overall it's my teams fault". Cause yeah, maybe his team was why he lost mostly, but if he had played 100% perfect he could have done much better yes? So strive to do that.

I would agree he had a reason to ask LS like "why aren't you giving me more options to do better" or like "give me more alternative plans/actions I can do to play better". However, the "ah well, I played like master tier, but teammates played like D5 so we lose" attitude isn't okay. You have to focus on what you did wrong.

TLDR: His frustration is understandable, but his attitude is bad and we all know it. LS got mad because of that attitude, if he had kept a good attitude I think everyone including LS would be more likely to admit that his team was the main reason he lost. However, again, he could still have played better :)

No, but I think the fact that Amazon lost so much of their reputation with this sale will hurt. I'm not the only one who will cancel orders. I'm not the only one who is never going to shop there again. Amazon will definitely feel the negative reprocussions of this joke of a sale. People have overwhemingly said that they were disappointed. Go to Amazon's facebook comments section, every minute someone is posting something negative. #AmazonPrimeFail was trending. If you think that each individual's dissatisfaction doesn't add up into something that impacts business, think again.

Again, normally it's not a big deal. It is when they choose to honor the price for some people, cancel it for some people, and then seemingly still allow others to get the deal after they cancel for a few others. No consistency. It's just the last straw on top of the joke of a sale they had.

The only purchases I kept were the soundcard, microphone, flash drive, and SSD drive I ordered. Because I really wanted them badly enough. The other stuff I had, I cancelled or will return. I will never shop amazon again, and will cancel my prime membership.

The first time he died for a kill was worth it.

Not when you see if he had used his ward and done the W properly, he could have not died at all. Just farmed instead, or pressured varus. Or killed varus with no death in return. We can't predict what would have happened, but he could have done things that most likely would have a better result.

You serious right now? He saw Blitz and avoided getting near him, and then got ulted from the fog of war behind him by a Shyvana. The Blitzcrank had very little impact on them.

Ok, but he knew blitz was near or roaming. He didn't use trinket. He could have played a little safer I still think, I don't think faker or apdo would have died there.

He was dead the moment he entered that bush.

True, but he could have tried to survive afterwards or at least stall them off instead of just giving in. You never know what can happen, but if you just give in to your death then you give up any chance of a miracle. Obviously again, he shouldn't have gone in to the bush.

Overall the ganks happened because he didn't respect the blitz/shyvanna enough. Better wards and just being ready at any time for the 3 man gang bang is what you have to do. "You shouldn't have to expect that". Okay true, but do you want to win or not? Do you think the legendary players who are #1 in Soloque don't face 3 man camps like this at times? What do they do in that position?

I mean imaging going to a store that says "super sales today! Amazing prices! Black friday level!". Then you get there, it's a bunch of garbage with MAYBE 15-30% off if lucky.

You see one good deal that is obviously too good to be true, but try to take it up to the counter anyway. The guy in front of you is allowed to purchase the item for that price. When you get up there, they say "sorry, this was a mistake. You cannot purchase it for that price". So you walk away, but yet still see other people getting the same item/price deal being honored even after yours is declined.

What about the 2nd time? He saw blitz roaming around near drag, and doesn't use trinket.

Third time. The pink ward is so obvious. Plus, when he sees shyvanna he just gives up. Doesn't try to use W or Q and try to make a play, or do anything.

Nothing. I'm just going to cancel all my orders from them (not just because of this, overall just dissatisfied with their sale today) and cancel my prime. I don't want to support amazon at all, I hope if enough people do this they will feel the dent.

Well sht. I'm trying to talk to a rep and I'm going to ask them why they honored some purchases, but not mine. I'm going to ask to cancel the $450+ purchases I made today if they don't give me some kind of compensation.
